Matt loved Little Pink House and gave it 4 out of 5 Reels.  The acting was amazing, the sets were spot on, and the story is incredible!!  The cinematography was lacking in his eyes and he wanted more backstory on some of the characters in the film.  Moral of this review is to go out and see this movie now!

A small-town nurse named Susette Kelo emerges as the reluctant leader of her working-class neighbors in their struggle to save their homes from political and corporate interests bent on seizing the land and handing it over to Pfizer Corporation. Susette’s battle goes all the way to the US Supreme Court and the controversial 5-4 decision in Kelo vs. City of New London gave government officials the power to bulldoze a neighborhood for the benefit of a multibillion-dollar corporation. The decision outraged Americans across the political spectrum, and that passion fueled reforms that helped curb eminent domain abuse.

Episode #9: Legacy – Pee-wee’s Big Adventure

Episode 9 is a bit of a format change for us.  Mike is away working and attending a wedding, so Matt brought in our first guest and host of sister podcast The Mile High Show, Matt Santos.  Coincidentally it is also the first in our Legacy series of podcasts.  What’s Legacy you say well I will tell you.  Legacy is any film not currently in the box office at the time of the that episodes recording.  Typically, it will be at least a few years old but not always.  What was our pick for the first Legacy cast a nice gem of a classic Pee-wee’s Big Adventure!

Did we really talk almost an hour about Pee-Wee, no.  When the two Matt’s get together things typically get off topic very quickly.  Topics included baseball, photography, drive-in’s, Matt S’s Mom, and Citizen Kane.  This was a fun one to record but might not be a fun one to listen to.  If you skip it, we would understand.

Matt S. gave Pee-wee’s Big Adventure a 3.5 out of 5 Reels and your lone host and Matt gave it a 4 out of 5 Reels because he is super nostalgic.  Remember our podcasts are SPOILER RIDDEN!!

Pee-wee’s Big Adventure
